It has been suggested that I have a form of Autism, one that used to be called Asperger's. When it was first suggested to me at the age of 64, it did not take me long to accept it. It explained so many of the struggles that I had experienced in my first marriage. It also helped prepare me for my 2nd marriage. Knowing what makes one "tick" helps so much in interactions with other people.
The biggest struggle I have involves decision making. I am a terrible decision maker. Give me 3 or more options and I sometimes freeze, unable to deal with it. My second wife has learned that she needs to break down multiple choices into sets of 2.
